Among the recurrent themes in my abstract style are Mandalas, images for meditation relating to the familiar circles that surround us. The earth, sun, moon, and the stars are our spherical celestial friends and companions from the day we are born till the day we die. As symbols of wholeness and completion circles are psychic truths. In nature they are found at every scale from the atom, to the cell, to the planets and suns. As an artist I find the symetry of circles too predictable yet I am drawn to them like a moth to a light.
